Here in roughly chronological order is basic bibliographical information about forty-odd editions of getting-on-for-thirty of my short stories published since 1994. Compiling this bibliography has been challenging because of the number of publishers and formats, the fact that some stories have multiple publishers and appear in magazines and anthologies, failures of memory and/or archiving, etc. The list does not yet include ISBNs (where these exist), links to publishers’ websites or places where the stories can be purchased, watched or listened to, nor (quite) every online or print edition of some stories. More recent stories such as ‘A Porky Prime Cut’ and ‘Auto-destructive Arts Policy’, both of which were published this spring, are of course blogged elsewhere on this site.
The list will be updated, tweaked and added to in due course and the plan is to illustrate this page with scans of some of the rarer editions. For guide to the symbols used see the key below. (N.B. For simplicity’s sake, where there are multiple editions of a story I have only categorised the first publication.)
